Funeral Services for Mrs Lois "Nap" Pipes Vernon, 95 of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday August 26, 2005 at the McGuire United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev Michi Head officiating. Burial will be in the Twin Cities Memorial Gardens under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs Vernon was born on December 7, 1909 in Choudrant, LA & died on August 24, 2005 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center. She was a Charter member of McGuire United Methodist Church.
Mrs Vernon was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Vernon; her parents, June & Maggie Pipes; sister, Fairy McGuffie; Brothers, Buck, Jim, Chick & John Pipes.
Survivors include her brother, Rip D Pipes & wife Alice; sister-in-law, Mabel Pipes; special niece, Marilyn Daniel & husband Joe; nephews, Harrell Pipes & wife Betty, John Pipes & wife Janie; Aunt Granny to Brian & Andy Vaughn; numerous great nieces, nephews & cousins & a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Flowers, Jack Pipes, Jeff Pipes, Bill Lofton, Brian Vaughn & Andy Vaughn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Hebert, Buddy Griggs, Exell Gewin & Harold Davis.
