Company C 3 Regiment Louisiana Cavalry
(Harrison's Regiment / Fluitt's Company)
Civil War Confederate
November 10, 1837 - December 21, 1914

His name appeared on a Roll of Prisoners of War after the unit surrendered at New Orleans, Louisiana, on May 26, 1865. He was paroled June 13, 1865, at Monroe, Louisiana. The 3 (Harrison's) Regiment Louisiana Cavalry was first organized as the 15 Battalion Louisiana Cavalry in May 1863. It was increased to a regiment in July or August 1863, and was known in the Trans-Mississippi Department as the 3 Regiment Louisiana Cavalry. It appears to have been finally paroled, as the 3 and as Harrison's Regiment Louisiana Cavalry, at various places in West Louisiana.
