December 28, 1926 - November 30, 2006
Sylvester "Buddy" Ridgdell, age 79, died Thursday, Nov. 30 at his residence in Bogalusa.
He is survived by a son, David Ridgdell of Pine; two daughters, Sylvia Drake of Bogalusa and Linda King of Franklinton; one brother, Kenneth Ridgdell of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma M. Ridgdell; one son, Sylvester Ray Ridgdell; and a grandson, Buddy Cedotal.
Visitation is being held today at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jimmy Vanwinkle will officiate, with interment following in Ponemah Cemetery.
