Husband of Rebecca Yvonne Harvey Robertson
BOGALUSA - Wesley "Brooks" Robertson Jr., died Friday at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Mandeville.

He was the caring husband of Yvonne Harvey and loving father of Wesley Brooks Robertson III and Wade Harvey.

Other survivors include two daughters-in-law, Kim and Cynthia; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rebecca "Katie Bo" and Wesley Brooks Robertson IV; a step-grandson, Joshua Anderson Athey; a brother, Rodney Robertson; a sister, Ruth Robertson Hemphill; two brothers-in-law, Jim Hemphill and Jim Harvey; three sisters-in-law, Sidney Gail Carroll Robertson, Elizabeth Harvey and Bobbie Louise Harvey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a 1951 graduate of Bogalusa High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University before serving in the U.S. Army. After working for many years at Willoughby's Men's Clothing Store (see NOTE), he began a second career at Farm Bureau Insurance, where he retired several years ago. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 4:30-9 p.m. the day before interment. The funeral service at 2 p.m the day of burial with interment in Ponemah Cemetery.
