September 9, 1928 - May 8, 2013
Jessie E. Rush age 84 passed away May 8, 2013 at his residence here in Bogalusa La. He was a member of Monroe Street Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He is survived by one son Bruce Rush "Deborah" of Bogalusa La., and one daughter Connie Rush Boyd "Charles" of Bogalusa La. Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nelda Faye Rush.
Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home Friday May 10, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. Rev. Chad Jenkins and Rev. David Easterling will officiate.
