Martha Louise Owens, age 69, died Tuesday, March 7, at her daughter's residence in Pine. She was a long time resident of Bogalusa.
She is survived by one son, Curtis Owens of Sandy Hook, Miss.; two daughters, Brenda Hemphill and husband Jerry, and Joyce McKenzie and husband Ronald of Angie; two brothers Jerry Dixon of Columbia, Miss., and Grady Dixon of Bogalusa; sisters Barbara Head of Bogalusa and Jean Hammond of Morgantown, Miss.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Galloway and Eva Dixon Franks.
Visitation was held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 8 from 5 to 10 p.m. and continued Thursday, March 9 at 8 a.m. until time for services at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Eld. Harvey Stuart officiated, with burial following in Ponemah Cemetery.
