Peggy Mauldin, 48, a resident of Bogalusa, died Friday at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Mauldin; three sons, Scotty Taylor of Bogalusa, Richard Keith Taylor of Caldwell, Texas and Ranol Mauldin of Bogalusa; one daughter, Vicky Renee Mauldin McGowan of Jackson, MS; two brothers, Ronnie Comans of Bogalusa and Donnie Comans of Pearl, MS; four sisters, Cindy May of Bethel, NC, Diane Watkins of Waynesville, NC, Crystal Spell of Covington and Carolyn Holland of Lake Gunaluska, NC; her mother, Mattie Lee Dunn Comans of Waynesville, NC; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Hill Comans.
Visitation was held yesterday at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa and will continue today from 9 a.m. to noon at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. in the Church of United Faith. The Rev. Jimmy Van Winkle will officiate. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery.
