John Curtis McCarty, a resident of Jackson, Mississippi, age 78, born August 10, 1933 in Bogalusa, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He is survived by son John Wesley (Dorothy) McCarty; grandchildren Alexa McCarty, Cassie McCarty and Bryleigh McCarty; and half brother, Marcus Prine.
