July 5, 1942 - April 12, 2009
Jimmie E. Garcia, 66, passed away at his residence in Crossroads, MS was called home to the Lord on April 12, 2009. He was a beloved husband and proud father and Paw Paw.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Charlene A. Garcia; one sister, Mickey (Buster) Coats; two sons, Dave A. Garcia and Francisco R. Esquivel, III; one daughter, Selene M. Esquivel; seven grandchildren, Whittney B. Gipson, Danacey R. Gipson, Jace S. Gipson, Jennifer Shelley, Alexander Perrault, Jeaune Esquivel and Francisco R. Esquivel, IV, four great-grandchildren; Rustin McMillan, Brooklynn Vasquez, Tanner Shelley and Talyn Shelley; one niece Courtney Coats and one nephew, Taylor Coats.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Connie Guidry and Jimmie Garcia.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday. April 15, 2009.
Visitation will continue at Annunciation Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Father Patrick Collum to officiate and Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery on Thursday, April 16, 2009.
