Wife of William Joseph Dow
Bernice Wheat Dow, born August 25, 1921, age 86, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, and former resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on February 26, 2008 at Lakewood Quarters in Baton Rouge, LA.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, former Kindergarten Teacher at First Baptist Church and former Teacher with Bogalusa Head Start.
Survived by: 1 Daughter, Anna Dow of Baton Rouge, LA;
1 Step-Daughter, Betty Joe Bush of Birmingham, AL;
1 Step-Son, James R. Dow of Story City, Iowa;
1 Brother, J. B. Wheat, Jr. of Bogalusa, LA;
3 Step-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Her Husband, W. Joseph Dow; Her Parents, John Brown Wheat, Sr. and Cleo Williamson Wheat; and 1 Sister, Hilda Middleton Branch.
Arrangements entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home.
Rev. Bob Adams will officiate services with Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
