James R. Duckett, age 76, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on May 15, 2009 at the LSU Medical Center in Bogalusa, LA. He was born on September 23, 1932 and was originally from Ticonderoga, New York.
He is survived by His Wife, Mary Duckett of Bogalusa, LA;
His Sons, Thomas E. (Marilyn) Wood and Ira C. Wood both of Bogalusa, LA, Robert Wood, Raymond Duckett, James Duckett, Jr. and Michael Duckett all of New York;
His daughters, Karen, Polly, Debby and Jannie Duckett all of New York;
His Brothers, Art, Eddy and Walter Duckett all of New York;
His Sisters, Gearaldine South and Mary Jane Einstein both of New York;
Numerous Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
He is preceded in death by a Son, Mike F. Wood and His Parents, Walter and Ella Duckett.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
Funeral Services will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Shelton Pierre and Rev. Charles Ray Creel to officiate and Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA on Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
