May 10, 1838 - March 20, 1919
He enlisted July 7, 1861 at Camp Moore, Louisiana. On February 10, 1862, he was mustered at Carondelet, Virginia. On April 15, 1862, he was promoted from Private to 3rd Sergeant. During his service, he spent at least two stents in the hospital for acute diarrhea, June 13, 1862 - CSA General Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia, and June 24, 1864. On March 16, 1865, he was admitted to the hospital in Richmond, Virginia, for (illegible) disease.
