Bader, Ruth Ingram of Bogalusa, LA, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri.. Loving wife of the late Reverend Walter L. Bader. Loving and devoted mother of Suzanne (William) Hendrickson of St. Louis, MO and Walter L. (Karen) Bader, Jr. of Belmont, CA., cherished grandmother of Matthew (Britni) Hendrickson of Yuma, AZ, Kathleen Bader (John) Griffith of Grapevine, TX and Alicia Bader of Sydney, Australia. Dear sister of the late Edith Ingram Haarala, Margaret Ingram Duncan of Birmingham, AL, Willie Clare Ingram Heinz of Bogalusa, LA and Nancy Ingram Longley of Granbury, TX.


Mrs. Bader was a retired mathematics teacher. She was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Bogalusa where her father, the late Reverend A.C. Ingram had been pastor, the Ingleside Literary Society, and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. International Society for Key Women Educators.


Church services will be celebrated, 2 pm, Saturday, May 8 at First Presbyterian Church, Bogalusa, the Reverend Philip Stagg officiating. Interment Ponemah Cemetery immediately following. Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Bogalusa, Presbyterian Church of Hollandale, MS, or the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends Friday, May 7, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, Bogalusa, from 6-8 pm.
