Bogalusa - A funeral service will be conducted at 10 am tomorrow in the Poole Funeral Home chapel for Mrs Elvie Adams, 83, of 1701 Monroe Street, who died yesterday morning in the Washington-St Tammany Charity Hospital. Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.
Mrs Adams is survived by three sons; Dr. Ruben Adams and Jason Adams both of Bogalusa and James Adams of Varnado; four daughters, Mrs Stella Thomas and Mrs Letha Etheridge both of bogalusa, Mrs Birdie Mae Bennett of Baton Rouge and Mrs Bertha King of Covington; two brothers, William H Rester of Angola and DeLeon Rester of Arizona; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, Joe Adams and a daughter, Mrs Pearlie Adams Beeson.
