ALMA SUMRALL STEVENS, AGE 95
And a resident of Franklinton and longtime resident of St. Francisville died at 11:50 PM Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center.
She was a retired aide with the East Louisiana State Hospital in Jackson.
Survived by: Daughter: Murlie Stevens of Franklinton
Son: Wade Stevens of St. Francisville
Son in law: Bobby McElveen of Mt. Hermon
Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Stevens, 4 sons Richard Stevens, J.M. Stevens, J.L. Stevens and Maxwell Stevens and a granddaughter Terri Parsons.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 5 PM until 9 PM Wednesday, April 7, 2010 and after 9 AM Thursday. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Willie J. Passman and Rev. Stan Statham officiating. Burial will follow in the Nobles Cemetery.
