Ronny Louis Van Schoubroek, age 64 of Junction City was found deceased in his home in Junction City on Monday, April 20, 2015. Born April 13, 1951 in Bernice, LA to Louis Barney Van Schoubroek and Lela Ophene Dison Van Schoubroek. He attended the First Assembly of God in El Dorado and First United Methodist Church in Junction City, AR.
Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and many aunts and uncles; one brother, Lee Van Schoubroek; three sisters, Verline Van Schoubroek, Lucy Lewis and Sue Howe.
Ronny worked for many years at JM Poultry which later became ConAgra. He later worked briefly at High Capacity and finally Cooper Standard Automotive, where he worked as a lab technician before his retirement. He enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army, the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary and at church. He also loved meeting new people and visiting with his family.
Survived by sisters, Ora Joyce Robinson (Tommy) of Pensacola FL; Lyda Jean "Jeanie" Evans (John Edward "Eddy") of Lawson AR; Armenia Hilton (William "Beaver") of Nederland, TX and Merline Green (Edward-deceased) also of Nederland, TX; one uncle, Ray Dison of West Monroe, LA; one niece, Stacie Evans of Lawson; three nephews, Brian Evans (Kelly) of Norphlet AR; Kenny Johnson (Kathy) of Magnolia AR; and Jesse Robinson of Pensacola, FL; numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, and a few great-great nieces/nephews as well as many, many cousins.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor, Greg Tucker officiating. Graveside service, officiated by Pastor Mary Depper, and burial will follow at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery near Spearsville, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado
