BOSSIER CITY, LA – Graveside services for Jarod K. Watson, 26, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Hill Crest Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Dereck Pearce. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Jarod was born on June 22, 1989, and passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 8, 2016. He was a full time student working on his Bachelor’s Degree in education and employed part-time with Dudley DeBossier Law Firm. In addition to being a wonderful son and brother, Jarod was a lover of education, art and music. He and his talents will be greatly missed.
Jarod is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, B.M. and Elizabeth K. Wachtel; and his paternal great-uncle, James Harvey Rebouche. He is survived by his parents, Julia Wachtel Watson and Rodney Watson; sister, Lauren Elizabeth Watson; girlfriend, Ashley Elizabeth Dean; two uncles, Randy Watson and Harvey Watson; one aunt, Jean Mezzio; and his dog, Jello.
Pallbearers are Haydon Camp, Jesse Gabriel, Adam Davis, Connor Davis, John Thomas Watson, and Sean Randall Watson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tipitina’s Foundation.
