HAZEL GERALD ADAMS, AGE 86
Lifelong resident of the Pine Community died Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Gulf States LTAC of Bogalusa.
She was a librarian with the Washington Parish Library in Pine and a substitute teacher and a member of the Pine Missionary Baptist Church.
Survived by: 2 Daughters: Judy Pigott-Carter, Jan Kennedy both of Pine, 1 Brother: Woodrow Gerald of Kentwood, 1 Sister: Rowena Seals of Tylertown, 3 Grandchildren: Patrick Pigott, Paige Pigott, Stacie Glen, 8 Great grandchildren: Randall Kennedy, Colby Glasgow, Noah Glen, Payton Pigott, Olivia Glen, Ava Glen, Miranda and Savannah Kennedy
She was preceded in death by her husband R. J. Adams, a son James "Buddy" Adams, a sister Vera McDonald, and 2 brothers Edward "Buster" Gerald and Marcus Gerald.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 5 PM until 9 PM Saturday, October 25, 2008. Visitation will continue after 1 PM Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Pine Missionary Baptist Church with a funeral service to be held at 2 PM at the church with Eld. Brent Kent and Eld. Glynn Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Nobles Cemetery.
