Donia Sheridan Byrd, age 84
And a resident of Franklinton, passed away on the morning of November 26, 2008 at her home. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.
Survived by:
Husband of 67 years: Howard Byrd of Franklinton
Daughter and Son-in-law: Diane and Eld. Doyle Ball of Franklinton
2 Grandsons: Grayson Ball of Baton Rouge Joseph Ball of Franklinton
Sister: Ouida Fortenberry of Franklinton
Special in-laws: Faye and Glen Sheridan of Bogalusa Jean Byrd of Franklinton
Numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents J.D. and Irene Corkern Sheridan and 2 sisters Beatrice Sheridan and Josie Mae Travis
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Friday November 28th from 4 pm until 10 pm and after 9 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 pm Saturday with Eld. Duane Ball, Eld. Clyde Cooper, and Eld. Doyle Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
