Died - Mr. George P. Welch, Tuesday, August 29th, at the home of his son-in-law, Meulin Welch, at the age of 64 years, 7 months, 19 days. Mr. Welch suffered a stroke of
paralysis at noon and succumbed to the attack about two o'clock in the evening. He was a native of Washington Parish, and besides his wife, leaves nine children to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the Morris cemetery at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. Rev. J.A. McCormick conducted the services.
