FRANKLINTON - Etta Mae Gill Ratcliff, age 79, a resident of Franklinton, died in Riverside Medical Center at 6:45 p.m. yesterday.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. tomorrow at Trinity Baptist Church until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Joey Miller, the Rev. Greg Carroll, and the Rev. Jerry Cupp officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery.
She was the widow of Fleet Ratcliff and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She served for many years on the staff of the Washington Parish Activity Center and also at the Head Start Program in Franklinton.
Mrs. Ratcliff is survived by six daughters, Myrna Goings, Mary Jeanette Ratcliff, Shelia Stafford, all of Franklinton, Barbara Riley of Mt. Hermon, Sharon Perry of Enon and Delores Cornette of Greensburg; two sons, William H. "Bill" Ratcliff of Franklinton and Jesse Talmadge Ratcliff of Picayune; a sister, Ella Singletary of
Pearl River; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
