FRANKLINTON - Charles Ross Adams, age 80, a resident of Franklinton died at 5:17 pm Sunday, December 24 at his home.

The son of the late Charles and Marganie Adams, he was a native of 10 Mile Creek in Marion County, Mississippi. He was well-known at the Washington Parish Fair since the early 1950's for his work caring for the livestock. As a young man, he worked the rodeo circuit as a bull rider. He was also employed at the old livestock barn in Franklinton for many years.

He is survived by one daughter, Rachelle Morales of Prairieville; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren

Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, with a graveside service following at 11 a.m. in the Morris Cemetery, Franklinton.
