Albert “Al” Herman Stein was born December 18, 1937, in Wheeling, West Virginia, and died November 26, 2019, in Columbia, Maryland at the age of 81. He resided at Harmony Hall Columbia, Maryland Lorien Health Services for three and a half years until his sudden passing.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rosalina Q Stein. He is survived by his son, John H Stein and daughter-in-law Anne Stein, grandson Joshua P Stein, his wife Joanne Stein, and two great grandchildren Theodore and Maxwell Stein.
He served in the United States Air Force for 26 years and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was an avid reader of newspapers, sports magazines, and books. His hobbies included model trains, model airplanes, and bowling. He was a lifelong fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team and the Dallas Cowboys football team. He lived in Bossier City, Louisiana until 2016, and moved to Maryland to be closer to his family.
He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mausoleum Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 10:00 AM, next to his wife Rosalina Q Stein.
