Glindon Brumfield, age 79, born on December 2, 1931, a resident of Franklinton, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton, LA.
He is survived by three step-sons, Joel Hill and Devoy Hill both of Franklinton, LA, and Jimmy Hill of Jackson, MS; one sister, Louise Seal Watson of Baton Rouge, LA; numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse M. Brumfield and Ida Smith Brumfield; four sisters; four brothers; one step-daughter; one step-granddaughter and one step-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Mt. Hermon Pentecostal Church, 37300 Sunny Hill Road, Mt. Hermon, LA from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Services at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Randall Garcia to officiate and Interment to follow at Magee Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be, Chris Hill, Joel Hill, Shawn Hill, Jimmie Brumfield, Larry Brumfield and Thomas Russell.

MINNIE PASSMAN HILL BRUMFIELD, AGE 82
And a resident of Franklinton died at 9:00 PM Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church.
Survived by: Husband: Glindon Brumfield of Franklinton, 3 Sons and a daughter in law: Devoy and Jeri Hill, Joel Hill all of Franklinton, Jim and Margie Hill of Canton, MS, 14 Grandchildren 23 Great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a daughter Janell Jenkins, her parents Wesley and Lydia Messer Passman and a brother Elvin Passman.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 6 PM until 9 9PM Saturday, August 11, 2007. Visitation will continue after 9 AM Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church with a funeral service to be held at 11 AM Sunday at the church with Rev. Randall Garcia and Bro. Allen Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Magee Cemetery.
