Graveside services for Delbert L. Moyer, 73, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Roger Stoffer and Rev. Ronnie Wyrick officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Moyer died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Mr. Moyer served in the U.S. Navy during the Cold War. He was a member of American Legion Post 13, was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Mr. Moyer was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Anna Moyer.

Survivors include his wife, Freddie Louise Moyer; daughters, Robin Musike and husband Tim, Melissa Roth and husband Mike; brother, Ross Moyer and wife Sue; sister, Sara Leibensperger; step-daughter Connie Walker and husband Ricky; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Greg Peters, Ricky Walker, J.R. Robinson, Nathan Rice, Anthony Deal, and Danny Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Marchand and the members of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of St. Francis Medical Center for all their support and kindness as well as a very special thanks to Al Marchand, a longtime friend.
