Leah Beth Ramsaur was born in Ruston, LA on January 7, 1956 to John Clark and Loraine Eubanks Ramsaur. Leah Beth went to her Heavenly home on April 12, 2018.
To know Leah Beth was to love her! She had beautiful smiling blue eyes, a heart of gold and usually a wise crack for everyone! She generously loved others very deeply, especially her nieces, nephews and her patients.
Leah Beth graduated from Cedar Creek High School in Ruston, LA. Guided by her compassion for people, she became a registered nurse. She took excellent care of many patients making that a priority in her life. She has a very special place in the hearts of many of those patients, family members, and friends whom loved her dearly.
Leah also had a special love for many dogs in her lifetime, most recently her beloved Bassett Hounds: Chelsea and Sallie, who are now happily greeting her in Heaven. Leah also loved Hippos, the colors Purple and Pink, and Beautiful Roses. She tenderly cared for rose bushes that had belonged to her beloved Daddy, producing many gorgeous roses throughout the years.
Losing Leah Beth has left a hole in many hearts, but we rejoice in knowing she is now perfectly well and at home with her beloved Savior, Jesus Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Dr. John Clark and Geneva Loraine Eubanks Ramsaur; grandparents: Jack Easy and Johnnie Wright Ramsaur and Bat B Eubanks and Gladys Zellner Eubanks Ezell.
Left to cherish Leah Beth’s memory are her brothers and their wives who were just like sisters to her. General Jack Wright and Sylvia Shofner Ramsaur of Collierville, TN and James Clark and Laura Terry Ramsaur of Ruston, LA; and nieces and nephews: Nathan and Angela Kerr, Jackson Kerr, Triston Kerr of Roanoke, VA; David and Allison Valdez, Stella Valdez of Memphis TN; Matthew Ramsaur, John Ramsaur of Ruston, LA and Melissa Ramsaur of Nashville, TN.
Special thanks and the utmost gratitude go to LaTonya Jackson, Kammi Williams, April Davis, Timeca Goldsmith and Shelia Nash of Tender Touch LLC and Professional Hospice Care, and a very special thank you to her loving friends Lisa Shinpoch Donnell and Liz Bogard White.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to 4 Paws Rescue Inc, Ruston La in honor of Leah Beth.
