Son of Mr & Mrs Robert Eppinette of Bastrop, Louisiana. Attended Bastrop High School. Entered Army in 1937; trained in Fort Benning, Georgia, Florida, Virginia and Camp Varleley, Texas. Served in Panama, Puerto Rico, Belgium and France.
