William Archie Corley, 70, Mer Rouge, died Thursday afternoon at his home.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home with Mrs. Grace Weaver, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment was in Mer Rouge Cemetery under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Lula Jane Bagwell Corley; one son, A B Corley, Mer Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Caressa Thomas, Mer Rouge, La; Mrs. Rachel Clark, Houston, Texas; and Mrs. Nannie Bell Williams, Beaumont, Texas; two step-sons, Willie Coleman, Pritchard, Alabama; and Lester Coleman, Memphis, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lena Thomas, Sterlington, La; and one sister, Miss Edna Corley, Mer Rouge, La; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
