A resident of Franklinton, she died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, in Franklinton. She was 85, widow of France W. Watts Jr. and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Franklinton. Survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles K. and Paula Watts, Baton Rouge, and Richard W. Watts, Franklinton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Tom R. Richardson, Franklinton, and Pamela and A.R. Rudnicki Jr., Dallas; a daughter-in-law, Clara Sue Driftmier, Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Gretchen Ott Magee, Portland, Mass.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, France W. Watts III. Visitation at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Visitation at Centenary United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Percy Mac Frazier and the Rev. Keith Hall officiating. Burial in Ellis Cemetery . Family suggests donations to Centenary United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
