Frank Thomas Nelson
Frank Thomas Nelson, 57, a native of Tallahassee, FL, and longtime resident of the Clifton Community, died on Thursday, August 31 at Veterans Hospital in Biloxi, MS.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Bateman Nelson, of Clifton, a daughter and son-in-law, Hilaria Nelson Broadwater and Chris Broadwater of Hammond; his
mother, Ruby Grace McVay of Green Acres, WA, and mother-in-law, Earlane Bateman of Clifton and other relatives.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 2 at Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton. Family hours was from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. with Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m. and
public visitation from 6-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.
A funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 in the afternoon, with burial following in Ellis Cemetery in Franklinton.
Mr. Nelson's death came as the Era-Leader went to press early due to the Monday holiday. He was a special friend of our staff.
