McCAIN, J.D.
Died 1 a.m. Friday, March 25, 1988, at his residence in Franklinton. He was 82, a native and resident of Franklinton. He was a retired forester for Louisiana Forestry Commission and served as constable of Ward III in Franklinton.
Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by Dr. Jerry Barlow and Elder Don McDaniel. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton.
Survived by wife, Mrs. Altha Brumfield McCain; a daughter, Mrs. Willie (Dorothy) Sumrall; a stepson, Cedric James; and a brother, Marvin McCain, all of Franklinton; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Franklinton.
