Died 12:30 pm Wednesday, January 17, 1996, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital, New Orleans, Louisiana. He was 69, a native and resident of Franklinton, Louisiana. He was an automobile salesman for Sicard Motors, Franklinton, and a US Navy veteran of World War II. Survived by wife Lois H Holmes Franklinton; sons Warren Holmes Sr, Baton Rouge,Louisiana and Robin Holmes, Walker, Louisiana; daughter Alison Holmes; a stepson Ricky Grigsby, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brother, Dewitt Holmes, Jr, Franklinton; four grandsons, a step -grand -daughter, and two great-granddaughters. Preceded in death by brothers Paul and Harry Holmes. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Franklinton.
