January 2, 1913 - August 8, 2009
Louis Steve Foy, 96, of Lufkin, Texas passed away in a local nursing facility. He enjoyed gardening, especially vegetable gardening. He was a hard worker, good provider for his large family of eight children and he was a good family man. He was a devoted Christian who attended church at least three times a week and served as a deacon in his baptist church.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law; Joe Foy and Julie; Ron Foy and Carolyn; Leroy Foy and Ginger; daughters-in-law, Melanie Foy; Mary Lou Foy; son-in-law, Ed Craven; sister, Bertie Little; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Polito Foy in 1985; sons, Louis Foy, Donald Foy and Gene Foy; daughters, Doris Tymon and Janice Craven; his parents, and all but one of his brothers and sisters.
