Foil, Fannie Lee Simmons
A native of Sheridan and resident of Franklinton, she died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, at 6:45 a.m. at Hospice Center of Baton Rouge. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the widow of Fernie E. Foil. She was a retired employee of Louisiana Department of Social Services. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Kerry and Mary Foil of Baton Rouge; daughter and son-in-law, Madonna and Dennie Fowler of Franklinton; three grandchildren, Neil and wife Shannon Fowler, Dustin Fowler and Stephen Foil; three great-grandchildren, Brylie Fowler, Tryson Fowler and Jason Foil; and brother, Jim Simmons of Sheridan. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Hennesy; and four brothers, Estus, George, Ezra and Lloyd Simmons. Visitation at Crain Funeral Home, 1109 Bene St., Franklinton, on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. with Dr. Gene Richards officiating. Burial in Ellis Cemetery .
