FOIL, FERNIE E.
Died 9:45 a.m. Monday, July 21, 1986, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Covington. He was 73, and a resident of Franklinton. He was a retired rural letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and after 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Gene Richards. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton.
Survived by wife, Mrs. Fannie Lee Simmons Foil, Franklinton;a son, Kerry L. Foil, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Mrs. Dennie (Madonna) Fowler, Franklinton; two sisters, Marguerite Foil and Sadie Foil, both of Franklinton; and a grandson, Neil Alan Fowler, Franklinton.
He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Franklinton, Retired Rural Letter Carriers Association, and Franklinton Masonic Lodge No. 101, F&AM.
