DOBSON, MARGARET TOBIAS

Died Monday, Nov. 27, 1995, in Mandeville. She was 88, born in Jefferson City, Mo., and a resident of Hammond since 1946. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 11 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. William Eubanks. Interment in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton. Survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, William H. and Audrey Williams Dobson, Mandeville, and Frank L. and Doris Joy Coats Dobson, Baton Rouge; three daughters and a son-in-law,Nelie and Dan R. Durham, Hammond, Margaret "Moggie" Bickham, Franklinton, and Dr. Hunter Downing, Mandeville; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Sarah McCuskey, Miami, Okla., Ida Moore and Ruth Hoffman, both of St. Louis, Mo. Preceded in death by husband, Hunter Edward Dobson; a sister, Mary Browne; a brother, Joe Tobias; and parents, Frank and Millicent Tegeler Tobias. Pallbearers will be William H. Dobson Jr., Michael Dobson, Tracy Durham, Hunter Durham, Brent Bickham, Byard Edwards III and Ross Downing Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Ross Downing Sr., Dan Durham, Ronnie Durham, Dick Durham, Don Shiell, Bob Grantham, Dr. James Smith, Felix Laiche, Byard Edwards Sr., Dudley Downing and Woody Whitley. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Sunday School class. Family requests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, Hammond, or to a charity of choice.
