Wife of William Penn Dunlap
Mrs. Mary O. Stroud Dunlap, mother of Mrs. W. Price Magee of Folsom, died in St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Tuesday morning, March 9, at 6:30 a.m., after an extended illness. She was 85 years of age, a native of Natchitoches and a resident of Folsom the past twenty years.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mae Magee of Folsom; one son, Dennis Charles Dunlap of Center Valley, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Fred Wilson of Covington; also 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Poole Funeral Home in Franklinton, the Rev. Robbins of Franklinton Baptist Church and the Rev. Fred Schwendiman of Franklinton Methodist Church officiating.
Interment was in the Ellis cemetery.
