Died 2 am Monday, September 28, 1987, at Riverside Medical Center, Franklinton, Louisiana . He was 64, a native and resident of Franklinton. He was a retired postal clerk with 25 years of service in Franklinton Post Office and US Army veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 8 am to religious services at 2 pm Tuesday, conducted by Dr Jerry Barlow, Dr A W Robbins and Dr Joe Baugh, officiating. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton.

Survived by wife Ruth Loyd Daniel, Franklinton; daughter, Mrs Louie (Gwen) Cotton, Baton Rouge; sons Donald Daniel and Ricky Daniel, both of Franklinton and Loyd Daniel Birmingham, Alabama; sisters Mrs.Mildred Jacobs and Mrs Frances Cooper, both of Bogalusa, Louisiana and Mrs Margie Oilchlager, Wisconsin Rapides, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was a member of Franklinton First Baptist Church and Franklinton Masonic Lodge No 101 F & AM.

A retired Director of Nursing at Southeast Louisiana Hospital, Mandeville, Louisiana and a resident of Franklinton, Louisiana she died at 8:05 am Tuesday February 4, 1997, at East Jefferson General Hospital, Metairie, Louisiana. She was 74.

Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 6 pm to 9 pm Wednesday and after 9 am until religious services at 2 pm Thursday, conducted by Dr Jerry Barlow and Dr Don Stewart. Interment in Ellis Cemetery .

Survived by daughter Mrs Louie (Gwen) Cotton, Baton Rouge, Louisiana ; sons, Donald and Ricky Daniel both of Franklinton, Louisiana and Loyd Daniel, Baton Rouge; sister Ethel Claiborne, Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband, Alden Daniel. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Franklinton
