Wife of Samuel Kerkendoll Cozine

Mrs. S.K. Cozine, widow of the late S.K. Cozine and mother of Mrs. John M. Love of this place, died Friday. She was a native of Jasmine Co., Ky. She married at 21 years old to a Ky. nobleman, S.K. Cozine. Mr. Cozine died in 1927. Interment was in the Ellis cemetery by her husband and an only son, John. Mrs. Cozine was 80 years old and is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. A.L. George of Teague, Tx.; Mrs. John M. Love of Franklinton; and Mrs. F.T. Myers of Hattiesburg; and by 8 grandchildren, 5 being orphans. The eldest grandson is Capt. Jack Cozine of Atlanta, Ga.; Calaway at Miss. is the youngest brother, and Inez Cozine, a sister in Tx.; John Cozine Broach in the Panama Canal; and his younger brother Claude Broach in Miss.; Mary Love, only child of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Love; Billie George, only
child of Mrs. A.L. George at Teague, Tx.; and Emily Myers only child of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Myers of Hattiesburg. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Minnie George of El Paso, Tx.
