A funeral service will be held today for Jeremy M. Brown, who died Friday, May 26, in an auto accident in Washington Parish.
He was 23 years old, a 1995 graduate of Franklinton High School and an employees of Pride International Offshore Company after serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a resident of Franklinton and a member of Victory Baptist
Church.
He is survived by his parents, David and Marsha Brown of Franklinton, and Ross and Laura Best of Folsom; a brother, Justin D. Brown of Franklinton; three sisters; Jenny Brown of Franklinton and Emily and Laura Best of Folsom; his grandparents: Floy and Clayton Dunaway of Tylertown, Walt and Joyce Brown of Franklinton and Walter and Lois Gay of St. Louis, MO; his great-grandmother, Lenora Finch of Farmersville Station, N.Y.; and his great-great grandfather, Clyde Noran of St. Joseph, MO.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Shelton Jenkins.
Visitation will be at the Crain funeral Home after 9 a.m. today until time for the funeral service, to be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
The service, to be conducted by the Rev. Larry Archote, will be followed by burial in the Ellis Cemetery.
