Funeral services were conducted Friday in Bogalusa, La., for Karl Bean, a former Portsmouth resident, who died Wednesday.
Among the survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Howard D. Jewett, 2413 Coles Blvd., and Mrs. James C. Crooks, 1130 Second St.
