Daughter of David Harrison and Elma Jenkins Stringfield
Dorothy Stringfield Bazar, born October 5, 1915, age 91, a resident of Franklinton died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington. She was known for her kind heart and always putting others first. She was active in the Washington Parish Fair where she exhibited her crafts and floral arrangements and also was past president of the Franklinton Garden Club. She also loved sewing and working in her yard. She volunteered as a "Pink Lady" at Riverside Medical Center for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Adult Womens Sunday School Class.
Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Robert Osburn of Madisonville, Barbara and Thomas Meyer of Mandeville; one brother, David H. Stringfield of Bogalusa; two sisters, Frances Toney of Baton Rouge, Eloise Lobdell of Orlando, FL; 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great-grandchildren and 8 Great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Bazar and three sons, Franz Bazar, Michael Bazar and Reagan Bazar.
