Funeral services for Lou Nell Smith Griffith, 75, of Farmerville, Louisiana, will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville. Officiating the service will be Bro Allen Grimmett. Interment will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery, Taylortown under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Lou Nell was born January 3, 1942 in Spearsville, Louisiana and passed away September 28, 2017 in Farmerville. She was a member of Blanchard Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed singing, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by parents Lester and Lucille Smith, brother William Smith, sister Jeannie Taylor and great-grandson Dalton James Hawkins.
Survivors include husband James Griffith of Farmerville; son Max Hawkins (Sharon), daughters Bonnie Bracknell (Tim) and Pamela Griffith (Ismeal Calvillo); granddaughters, Jennifer Halley, Ryan Nolan, and Felicia Kimmerling, grandsons Nathan Hawkins, Steven Thurston, Kristopher Kimmerling, Zach Hawkins, and Eric Calvillo; twelve great-grand children Danielle, Samantha, Lyric, Lily, Jorja-Kate, Daniel, Jackson, Jacob, Justice, Bryce, Avery, and Kinley, sisters Joyce Griffith (Bobby); Shirley Martindale (Wayne).
Visitation will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
