Windom - Roy Gene Windom, Age 61 Years, Passed Away Wednesday, June 29, 2005 At His Residence.
He Was A Native Of New Orleans, La And A Resident Of Covington, La. Mr. Windom Was A Retired Chief Petty Officer Of The United States Coast Guard. He Received The National Defense Service Medal During His Service With The U.S.C.G. Mr. Windom Attended The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints With His Wife. He Was Preceded In Death By His Parents, Roland (Jack) Windom And Catherine Jenkins Windom; A Sister, Winnie (Alice) Strickland; And Two Stepsons, David Boweter And Michael Boweter. He Is Survived
By His Wife, Harriette (June) Windom Of Covington, La; Three Sons, William Windom Of Anchorage, Ak, Russell Windom Of Juneau, Ak And Charles Windom Of Covington, La; Two Daughters, Monica Mitchell Of Juneau, Ak And Jodie Lynn Davis Of Covington, La; Stepdaughter, Pamela Turley Of Vancouver, Wa; Three Brothers, Carroll Windom Of Covington, La, Willard Windom Of Madisonville, La And Ray Windom Of Madisonville, La; Seven Grandchildren; And One Great-Grandchild. Visitation Will Be Tuesday, July 5,
2005 From 9:00 Until 11:00 A.M. At Schoen Funeral Home, Covington, La. Funeral Services Will Follow From The Funeral Home Chapel. Private Interment Will Be At A Later Date. Arrangements By Schoen Funeral Home, 1414 S. Tyler St., Covington, La. Times Picayune 07-3-2005
