Benjamin M Westmoreland, Sr of Covington,, Louisiana a veteran of World War II, died in New Orleans, March 6 at 12:23 o'clock, following a long illness. He was 49 years of age, a native of Franklinton, Louisiana and resident of St Tammany parish for many years. He is survived by his widow,Wilma Westmoreland; son, Benjamin M Westmoreland, Jr, and daughter,Carolyn Westmoreland of Covington; and 4 brothers.
Funeral services were from the Ozone Baptist Church, March 7, the Rev Billy Bond officiating. Interment was in the Corkern Cemetery.
