December 21, 1953 - September 9, 1998
Linda Faye Sanders, age 43, died Wednesday at Washington-St. Tammany Medical Center.
She was a resident of Bogalusa.
Sanders was born December 21, 1953, in Bogalusa, to the late Earl Sanders and Hildred Sanders.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Bogalusa.
She is survived by her mother, Hildred Sanders; one sister, Cynthia M. August of
LaPlace; one brother, Earl Sanders of New London, CT; one aunt, Emma
Connerson of Bogalusa; one cousin Bernard Connerson of Kansas City, MO; one
uncle Elton (Geraldine) Connerson; one niece, Tamara K. August; one brother in
law, Kenneth C. August, all of LaPlace; four nephews, Branden R. August of
LaPlace, Justin, Avery, and Devin Sanders, all of New London, CT; and a host of
cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Cook-Richmond Funeral
Home in Bogalusa.
Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church on the corner
of North Avenue and Dauphine in Bogalusa with the Rev. Christopher Matthews
officiating.
Interment will follow in Bogalusa Cemetery.
