Janice Robinson, 52, of Summit, died June 5, 2009, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation will be from noon Friday at Cook's Enterprise Funeral Home in McComb until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Hugh Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Bogalusa Cemetery in Bogalusa, La.
Ms. Robinson was born Dec. 19, 1956, in Bogalusa. She was the daughter of the late Will and Erma Robinson.
She was a seamstress. She received her GED in 2002. She faithfully attended church and Bible study and devoted her life to her family.
Survivors include one son, Benji Robinson and his wife Tiesha Smith of McComb; three daughters and their spouses, Bridget Robinson of Summit, Brandy Robinson and Jesse Patterson Jr., and Irma Robinson and Jamethan Felder, all of McComb; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Alejandro Rodriguez of Baton Rouge, Mary Ann Robinson and Robert Hornsy, and Annie and Marvin Hughes, all of Bogalusa, and Juanita and Freddie Johnson, and Alfreda Harris, all of McComb; five brothers, Wilton Robinson and his wife Mary Baker, Willie Robinson and Albert Robinson, all of Bogalusa, Prentiss Robinson of Sacramento, Calif., and Joseph Robinson of McComb; one aunt, Emma Walls of Kentwood, La.; five granddaughters, Asia "Missy," Tra Brandeonia "Muffin," Allectria "MeMe," Jean-Benet "Naynai" and Omariona "Fat"; a grandson, Amonte' "C.J."; special friends, Pamela Martin of Bogalusa and Demora Parker of Summit; special nieces and nephews, Bernita Hodges, Frank McGowan, Josie McDowell and Wanda Hood, all of McComb, Billie Robinson and Paul Baker, both of Bogalusa, Frederick Robinson of Tylertown, Yvonni Coleman of Amite, La., James Daniels of Summit and Jeri Newman of Philadelphia; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and dear friends.
