Mr Busby was a retired Chief Warrant Officer who had served in the US Navy for 22 years. He was a retired owner of Busby Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Dombrowski Busby. He was survived by 4 children, Marie Stewart and husband Lushen, Jr of Sarepta, Steven Busby and wife Jean of West Monroe, Carol Busby of Monroe, and David Busby and wife Nancy of West Monroe; 1 sister, Majorie Hopson of West Monroe; 6 grand -children, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs Busby was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She was survived by her husband, LaRoy Busby of Monroe; 4 children, Marie Stewart and husband Lushen, Jr of Sarepta, Steven Busby and wife Jean of West Monroe, Carol Busby of Monroe, and David Busby and wife Nancy of West Monroe; a sister-in-law, Majorie Hopson of West Monroe; 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
