Ms. Barnett was human resources manager with Wink Engineering Company in New Orleans. She was the daughter of the late Leon Barnett and Clara Williams Barnett. She had been a resident of Covington for four years and was a former resident of Metairie for 30 years.
She was survived by her daughter, Caitlin Rebecca Barnett-Gagnon; 2 half-brothers, Drexel Barnett and Dorvil Barnett; and several nieces.
