November 27, 1921 - November 5, 2009
Margie Elizabeth Corkern, 88, a resident of Franklinton, died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at Riverside Medical Center. She was a member or Victory Baptist Church.
She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Doris Corkern and Waldo Stewart of Bogalusa and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Ollie Fairburn Corkern; two brothers, Murphy Corkern and Horace Corkern and a sister, Lola Corkern.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 7 at Crain Funeral Home, from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral service at noon in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Larry Archote officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill
